Picture #8 - Mistake...Accident
This picture cost me.
I was driving home a few nights ago and noticed the sun through the clouds. Some fires up north created a haze at sunset that made the sun an apocalypse-colored red. So I bolted out to take a few pictures by the mighty L.A. River (as seen in its concrete vastness below). I didn't get a chance to see the sun from where I ended up, which I was okay with given I was two minutes from home and it was free (I like free). Murphy's Law would not have it though, and as I was turning around to come back home I got into an accident that was my fault.
Life goes on, right? It has to. Still, if anyone knows anyone who wants a Jeep, let me know. I'd love to get rid of the cursed, accident-prone doo-hickey. Ha!

Pictures #7
The last time Aubrey and I caught the sunset at Kanan Road in Malibu, we saw the fog roll in from the ocean. It was a beautiful, magical sight. This time, we headed out hoping to catch the fog again but were surprised by the dazzling colors in the sky, helped heartily by a fire downwind.
Lucky us.

Picture #6 - Lots o' Pictures
Aubrey and I went to Solvang, CA, a quaint little Danish town surrealistically time-warped just a couple hours above Los Angeles over the Labor Day weekend and I took these pictures there. We went wine tasting, and I'm not going to lie, I took some of these after a few glasses.
On the technical side, I photoshopped all of these photos, some more than others. If you feel like, let me know what you think. I could use the critique. So without further adieu.
